Eagle Eye Photo Seal.

This is the rare exact transitional design of 1859 with the Pointed Bust obverse and Six Leaf Laurel Wreath reverse. The J-208 is a popular although relatively common pattern. But 99% of all examples are the Broad Bust and five Leaf Laurel die pair. I have traced only 9 examples. This is an outstanding example with only a small mark to the right of the date. There are some planchet streaks which my be the reason it is not a PR65. Only the Larson example is finer! Ex: NGC PR-65, Tag included.
