Description / 1858 1C Flying Eagle/5-Leaf Laurel J-191, Snow-PT14. PCGS PR63 (PHOTO SEAL & CAC)
Proof (13: 4,4,5). Snow-PT14. Very popular as a Proof Flying Eagle cent that is remotely affordable. This is a semi-transitional with a reverse similar to the adopted design in 1859. This is the 5-Leaf version. The coin is attractive with good mirrors and light golden tone. Part of the 12-piece cent pattern set the Mint sold at the time of issue. Ex: EERC 1/14; Ex: Don Kelley collection.
